I was born and raised in Incline Village, NV. Tahoe has been the best place to live. The best part is it’s only 45 minutes away from the UNR campus. By having such an outdoor environment to camp and hike. To play sports throughout the year. Since my town is small, I’ve grown up with the people since preschool, and I’ve met my lifelong friends. Incline has taught me that having a network and connections with people can help you in the future. It could be small or even big, like a job. As a person, I live by you get what you give. I feel like helping aroundthe community or just being respectful to others, they will do the same back to you. I want to be a person whom they can rely on or even talk to. I strive to be humble, respectful, and the best person I can be every day.
I am currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno as a business major. Since I am only a Freshman, I have not declared a major yet. The one I’m leaning towards is Finance and a minor in accounting. The reason I am attending college is to get the knowledge for the career I want to be in, and then, while I’m still in college, I will be getting job experience to help with my skill set for future job opportunities. I want to provide for my future family and give them the best experience and not having to worry about the financial side of it.
